What is EFOL?
EFOL is an event for European foresters and members of woodworking industry which offers:
* Official championships in orienteering
(individual (park-race and middle distance) and relay race distributed into
age classes).
* Further education in the form of forest, wood and cultural excursions and a forest
information seminar
* Social gathering and fruitful relations among forest professionals and their
families.
Who can participate?
- *People working in forest companies / woodworking industry*
- *Retired former employees of forest companies / woodworking companies*
- *Students and pupils from the forest / environmental sector*
- *Forest owner*
- *Foresters*
- *People who have finished studies or education in the forest/
environmental sector*
- *Lumbermen*
- *Family members of all these groups*
*We also heartly welcome all people working in the woodworking industry,
especially:*
- *People working in sawmills*
- *Carpenters*
- *People working in wood pellets production*
- *People working in timber work*
*Please also note that you are only allowed to participate if you are
living permanently in an european country.*
Registration for participation should be channeled through the Team Leader of the respective country. The number of participants is not limited.
